When chosing a web developer, it is important that they are aware of making yourself browser compatible.  Today there are different choices of browsers, Firefox, Safari, & Internet Explorer being the most popular.  When a website is developed even with the most professional care, it may not function correctly in one or more of the browsers.  Images can be distorted, the entire page may even shift from to one side or the other of the screen.  It is vital that your site looks good and in working condition in each browser.  Ask your developer the questions that matter, make sure you are getting your monies worth out of your investment.
