Effect Web Media, Inc. is located in northern Indiana about 40 minutes south east of South Bend, (Home of the Fighting Irish :) .  We have had clients as close as our own town & as far as England.  It may be a challenge to keep in close contact with clients states & countries away, but we manage.  A current client in Virginia meets with us via phone once a week to catch up on the lastest developments.  One of our clients in the UK used Skype, an online phone system to keep in close touch.  It was especially fun with him as he would often use his webcam.  The success of our business rests on the relationships with our clients.  We insist on a close relationship, for we do not merely build websites then send our client on their way.  Our clients are lasting, we keep them up to date, ahead of the game.  We believe in honesty & integrity & doing the best we can.  It may sound like a pitch you have heard before, but believe what we say, & trust what our clients have had to say.   We’re here to better businesses through website technology & our knowledge of users, search engines, design, & other trades as a whole.

We encounter potential clients frequently who turn out to be price shopping in the end.  Some are not nearly so bold as to come out & say it, but usually it is evident.  We offer our best, & we offer our honesty.  We will be the first to tell you, no we will not be the cheapest however you will get your money’s worth.  A guarentee we cannot prove other than by our previous work & the things that our clients have to say about us.  We will also tell you up front if we think you will benefit from our work.  We would never get a client involved that simply does not have the vision to be something bigger.  What is meant by this is, we would not take on a client who simply wants to sell hand made items from their home on the side.  It would not make good financial sense for the success of their business.  We will often refer a potential client to a reputable web developer we work with.  It is always disheartening when a potential comes back to tell us they have chosen someone else & mention that the price was lower.  It’s the way it goes sometimes, but we know our quality work is worth it.  We charge what is fair, to ourselves, to our clients.  Our business rests on a foundation of quality, honesty, & integrity.  We enjoy having the chance to prove this to as many people as possible.

Web developers are a dime a dozen these days, nearly one on every block or working from home.  Our clients or prospective clients will sometimes ask us, so what makes you different?  This is a question that has required much thought and consideration.  How are we different?  The answer seemed simple at first.  Well, we deliver what we promise & we always produce quality work & effective websites.  This is all true, but there is so much more.  It seems hard to stand out in a crowd sometimes when everyone is promising the best.  How can we convince our clients & prospective clients that we are just that, or that we do what we say we will.  What you see is what you get.  Word of mouth, products, statistics all help our case.  I believe that the most important aspect of our business is our honesty, second is our relationship with our clients.  We cannot fathom the thought of merely ‘cranking out’ a website & sending our client on their way.  It’s isn’t a chunk of cash we are looking for.  We feel that if this was the sort of relationships we wanted with our clients, we could simply open up a retail store.  Sell them what they want, send them on their way.  No guarantees, no further contact.  A website is not just a product top be stocked on a shelf.  Before we ever start a project with our clients we have multiple meetings & get to know them aswell as their business.  We share the vision of each of our clients.  We could not produce a website suited specifically for a companies needs if we did not use this method.  We know we are blessed & can’t not be grateful for that.  The golden rule stands true today.
