The Traditional Website

How are "Traditional Websites" created?

• Hiring the 'Reactive' Web Developer (They do exactly what you tell them)
• Hiring the 'Local Company', because they're local
• Hiring the 'Cheap Company', because they're cheaper
• Hiring the 'Expensive Company', because they must be better
• Hiring the Jack-of-all-trades Company that "does Video Production / Print Media / Website Design / etc."
• "We can do it in-house" or "Our IT guy knows computers..."

Generally, this client ends up with a non-productive website that has cost the company much more than they would have ever spent by doing it right. Anyone can design a website. Yes, it's true. But the ability to create a website is only one piece of the pie.

This kind of website gives the user a surprisingly pleasant experience. It's easy to find what they want. The goals are clear. The text speaks to the user. Expectations are met.
