Google seems to be a target for lawsuits
As Google gets larger, it’s attracting more and more lawsuits. People are suing Google for not being ranked on the search engine, copyright infringement and other various reasons.
One particular lawsuit was inherited with the purchase of YouTube. A user posted copyrighted content. I’m sure that was against the user agreement. Besides that, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act protects website owners in which a user submits copyrighted content.
It just goes to show, were there’s a will, there’s a way.
